Good News Club at Livonia Elementary School welcomes students in grades 2–5 on Tuesdays, September 29–November 17, 3:15–5:00 p.m. Free after-school club with Bible lessons, songs, games, snacks, prizes, and crafts. Registration is required and accepted at any time.

Ladies’ Fellowship

Ladies Fellowship Bible Study: Tell Someone by Greg Laurie, November 9–December 14 on Mondays, with dinner and fellowship at 5:30 p.m. and Bible study at 6:00 p.m. Six-week study with video access.

Parsonage Fundraiser

Historic Bell Update

On May 27, the historic bell was removed and the tower was sealed.

There is still more to do, but we are grateful for your help in making this part of the project possible.

High Street Parsonage fundraiser for a new steeple. Donations will remove the deteriorated bell tower, restore the building, preserve the historic bell, and build a Spring Street steeple; scan the QR code to donate.
High Street Bell Tower history: the bell was made by the Clinton H. Meneely Bell Company in Troy, New York, in 1892 and installed at Livonia Station, New York, for the Baptist church's 25th anniversary. The image also includes a stanza from Alfred, Lord Tennyson's poem ‘Ring Out, Wild Bells.’

Voice of the Martyrs

This morning we prayerfully commit the ministry of Voice of The Martyrs, which our church supports.

Our intention with these weekly "Prayer Points" is that we all would all continue to pray for these postings daily throughout the week, not just once in the Sunday morning service.

This week we highlight our persecuted Iranian brethren who are the fastest growing church in the world at the risk of their lives. Some Christian Iranians go to cemeteries to look for people who are grieving over the tombs of their loved ones to share the Gospel, give them Scriptures, and pray with them for salvation—even though the religious police try to catch them do this.

We pray right now that:

  • The Lord will block the government’s persecution.
  • These Iranian Christians will continue to be bold and successful in their non-stop sharing the Gospel.
  • VOM continue to have opportunity to motivate churches in the free world to intercede for our persecuted brethren around the world.
  • VOM workers working undercover in these dangerous countries be protected while trying to help our persecuted brethren.

The Gospel

The Four Spiritual Laws

  1. God loves you and has a wonderful plan for your life.

  2. Humanity is tainted by sin and is therefore separated from God. Without Christ, we cannot know God's wonderful plan for our lives.

  3. Jesus Christ is God's only provision for our sin. Through Jesus Christ, we can be forgiven and restored to a right relationship with God.

  4. We must place our faith in Jesus Christ as Savior to receive the gift of salvation and know God's wonderful plan for our lives.

Prayer of Repentance

Dear God, I know I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe Jesus Christ is Your Son. I believe that He died for my sin and that You raised Him to life. I want to trust Him as my Savior and follow Him as Lord from this day forward.
