Les

&

Yvonne Parr

Our Missions Prayer Point missionaries for this week are

Les & Yvonne Parr whom we help support. Les is the native American pastor of the Vineland Church on the Ojibwe reservation in Mille Lacs, Minnesota.

Lord, we commit Les and Yvonne to you this morning to be encouraged in their care for and outreach to the native Americans on the reservation and living in northern Minnesota.

  • We pray that you’ll keep Les and Yvonne in good health, avoiding some of the sickness they have experienced in the past.
  • Give them your strategies on how to share the Gospel to the many who have not yet believed and have been raised in their culture to not believe in Christianity.
  • We especially pray that you will use the free weekly dinners they prepare for people they invite to form friendships and gain their confidence with the hopes of soon sharing the Gospel with them.
  • We thank you for the few new visitors who are responding and are attending the church.

The Gospel

The Four Spiritual Laws

  1. God loves you and has a wonderful plan for your life.

    READ JOHN 3:16

  2. Humanity is tainted by sin and is therefore separated from God. Without Christ, we cannot know God's wonderful plan for our lives.

    READ ROMANS 3:23

  3. Jesus Christ is God's only provision for our sin. Through Jesus Christ, we can be forgiven and restored to a right relationship with God.

    READ ROMANS 5:8

  4. We must place our faith in Jesus Christ as Savior to receive the gift of salvation and know God's wonderful plan for our lives.

    READ JOHN 1:12

Prayer of Repentance

Dear God, I know I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe Jesus Christ is Your Son. I believe that He died for my sin and that You raised Him to life. I want to trust Him as my Savior and follow Him as Lord from this day forward.
